Om Shri SatChitAnada SadGuru SaiNath Maharaj ki Jai.
This website/blog is dedicated to the stories of Shirdi Sai Baba. The main focus of this blog is collecting wonderful stories of the Master Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi. The Spiritual Master or the Guru as popularly known in India.
Writing of the stories will be done as a part of Sadhana, as a part of love and devotion towards Baba. It will be more of a personal thing between the writer and the Baba. For the writer it is a way of pleasing the Master. Baba becomes happy when His stories are shared, hence these personal Sadhana is being shared with the interested souls.
Many wonderful things happened in Shirdi, while Sai Baba sported in physical body. Ok, wonderful things do happen even now in Shirdi and with His devotees around the world. But this website will primarily focus on short stories about what happened during those days.
Going through the stories should be a unique experience in itself. It will be like visiting those days in Shirdi again. While reading these stories of Shirdi Sai Baba we can enjoy the gracious, blissful and mysterious ways of Baba.
When Hemadpant, the author of wonderful book called Shri Sai SatCharitra put forward his wish of writing scripture about Sai Baba through Shama. The gracious Guru replied with benediction, that He should collect His stories and also devotees experiences, and write them. That the ego should be offered at His Holy Feet. He will guide His devotees through His stories.
So the stories of our unique Guru will be written here. They will be read by many. But the most important thing, getting into the hearts of devotees and guiding and protecting them, will be done by Baba. One of the most unusual Spiritual Master, a Guru. His ways are unique and incomprehensible. Yet He works in most comprehensive ways with His devotees.
This Guru gives worldly things and fulfills worldly wishes if it may please Him. This divine incarnation certainly gives the most precious to His devotees unasked for. Though most of the stories revolves around what the devotees asked for and got, there is something else more important which is always going around. Because the mind can ask only about what it knows and what it has experienced. It may modify the known, while asking. How can it ask for what it has never seen or experienced before.
There is much unknown, which the poor little mind cannot ask for. The Guru gives that unknown, bundled with what has been asked for, or even without bundling it with the wants.
So let’s get ready. Let’s live what happened during those days with the gracious, compassionate Guru. The Blissful Divine. Let’s say, “Wow wonderful is Baba and wonderful is his leela.” Let’s get blissful and bow to Him in utter wonder and amazement. Let us feel happy and feel fortunate that He chose us to be His part. Lets bow to Him, with grateful respect.
Let’s proclaim loudly together “Shri SatChitAnand SadGuru SaiNath Maharaj Ki Jai”.
